“Sargent Peppers” was the first release of the Beatles, which was dedicated to the studio work, drawing back from all the live activities. This album created using various sound effects with glitteriness has a very lively atmosphere. While listening to songs, albums and jackets were also fancy, the era did not catch up with the evolution and change of the Beatles, and the public debated over the interpretation of this album. LSD and others are probably the best ones to read. It was Paul who led such a flashy ‘Sargent Peppers’. In the early Beatles, if John had pulled the band as a leader, Paul caught up with rubber soul and revolver per se, obviously at least in Sargent Peppers it is obvious that at least the musical leadership has shifted to Paul . “Sargent Peppers” appears at the beginning of “How Do You Sleep?” Which derives a pole from the album “Imagine”, and indeed John himself admitted that Paul was leading the band this time . The band leader’s transition from John to Paul has a subtle influence on the human relationship of members of the Beatles boasting a solid foundation and it seems that the moment of dissolution has started from this time.

The next album of “Sargent Peppers” that reflects such a psychedelic era is “The Beatles” which is commonly called a white album. At this time the Beatles established Apple Record, which will be the first release of its own label. I also stayed in India to ask Maharishi’s teaching for a philosophical meaning and most of the songs on the white album were written at the time of staying in India. This Indian residence period was from February to April 1968. And as early as May after returning to the UK all members gathered at George ‘s home and are doing demo recordings. The sound source at this time is what is called Escher Demo. Based on this demonstration sound source, full-fledged recording will begin in June.

The white album is the first double album of the Beatles. As alluding to the spectacular previous work “Sargent · Peppers”, the album · jacket is embossed in white color and the band name is written by embossing, it is just more simple than just numbering. The album title itself is simply “THE BEATLES”, whereas the previous work was a fictitious long band name. As such, “White album” contrasting with the previous work was released in November 1968, and it has been very successful in terms of sales. As mentioned earlier that the transition of musical leadership from John to Paul was a mission to dissolution of the Beatles, in fact this time, apple boycotted recordings and did not come to the studio, recordings are always done with four people It seems to me that the episode of “White Album” is somewhat skewered as if the sprouts of dissolution are becoming bloated. As part of that, when criticizing this album, an opinion is made that this is a collection of solo songs, not band albums. Indeed, that is not a mistake in a way. Even though George Martin suggested that the contents condensed and made a single album in the first place that became a double album which was disadvantageous in sales in the first place, despite the members refusing to omit their own songs is there. Paul does not try to hide the feeling of hatred against “Revolution 9”, but where the opinion refusing the recording did not pass, there is a glimpse of the instability of the balance of human relations within a subtle band. However, even in such a state, there is no objection to the wonder of “White Album”. There are many people who actually like this album the most among fans. Paul speaks like this in an interview. “This album is told that there is no context or a collection of solo songs, but it’s the Beatles’ white album, it’s shut up!
