One of these mixes was used for "Hey Jude" LP (1970) and "1962-1966" stereo LP (1973) (Apple SKBO 3404).
The current mix first appeared on "A Collection Of Beatles Oldies" (1966). It was then reused for the other stereo LP release of "1962-1966" (Apple PCSP 717), then on the "Past Masters 2" CD and on "1962-1966" CD.

On 2 Aug 1968, 3 stereo mixes (RS1-3) based on take 1 (remake) were produced but apparently not used.
On 5 Dec 1969, two additional stereo mixes (RS20-21) were produced for inclusion on "Hey Jude (Beatles Again)". One of these two mixes was presumably used for the record.
The stereo version has appeared with early fades on some compilations.

The first takes of this song date back to 17 May 1967. On 7,8 & 9 June 1967, several other takes were recorded. And on 9 Jun 1967 a first RM1 was cut.
The song was not revived until 30 Apr 1969 were Paul & John recorded more vocals and sound effects onto Take 30. That same day, 3 mono mixes RM1-3 were cut.
On 26 Nov 1969, a copy of RM3, titled RM4 was made. It was 6:08 long. It was edited to a 4:19 mix and released on the Let It Be single.
